Autism Society Acadiana Asks for Donations for Hurricane Laura Relief
(Lafayette, LA) Autism Society Acadiana is requesting donations for those affected by Hurricane Laura, especially in the small communities surrounding Lake Charles. These include Bell City, Hayes, Iowa, Lacassine, Sulphur, Westlake, & Welsh.
There are many individuals and families affected by autism in these communities. In some cases, people are isolated and cannot get into Lake Charles for supplies and assistance. Autism Society Acadiana is partnering with Autism Society Southwest Louisiana and Autism Society Louisiana to distribute supplies in those areas.
Autism Society Acadiana is asking for donations of water, food, toiletries, soap, hand sanitizer, gloves, laundry detergent, clothes, shoes, paper towels, toilet paper, and first aid supplies. Donations can be dropped off at our office located at 3108 W. Pinhook Road, Ste. 101 in Lafayette during regular office hours of 9:00am-2:00pm Monday through Thursday and 9:00am-12:00pm Friday.
