The weekly Cajun jam at the Moon attracts some of the areas best musicians as well as folks from around the globe. Open to all, the jam allows players of all skill levels to sit in and play Cajun tunes the way they used to be played (comme dans l’vieux temps), all acoustic on the back porch.
De temps en temps (from time to time), we have someone host the jam. On other nights, the sessions evolve depending on the musicians playing. It’s never scripted and never the same, you never know what’s coming next or who might show up.
You don’t have to play to enjoy the jam. Have a drink, dance, just kick back, listen and meet folks from all around the world.
The jam has become world famous thanks to numerous local, regional and national publications as well as National Geographic France and a featured spot on Radio-Canada Television “ Le telejournal”.
See you there!
