Fountain Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery in Lafayette, in partner with the Acadiana Area for Veterans, will host the 6th annual Wreaths Across America Ceremony, Saturday, December 19, 2020, at 9:00 am, at Fountain Memorial Cemetery, located at 1010 Pandora Street. Wreaths Across America is a nonprofit organization founded to continue and expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony held at Arlington National Cemetery, with the mission of remembering and honoring our nation’s military, so that the individuals who served to protect the freedoms of our country are not and never will be forgotten. Remembrance wreaths will be placed at the headstones of fallen veterans. The Acadiana Veteran Honor Guard will be in full regale, with a guest speaker and patriotic music selections.
